- Lead electrical work in residential and/or commercial environments, from rough-in to final inspection, while maintaining Burkhead Electric standards from start to finish
- Perform installations, upgrades, repairs, service calls, and troubleshooting with a disciplined focus on safety, quality, code compliance, and customer experience

- Active Iowa State electrical license at the Journeyman level or higher is required. This includes an Iowa Journeyman, Master, or other Iowa-recognized license level that qualifies you to perform electrical work at or above journeyman status.
- 6+ years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, service, new construction, remodel, or a combination of these environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of residential and/or commercial wiring, electrical systems, and code compliance
- Proven ability to work independently, stay focused, and complete large tasks without needing constant oversight
- A team-first mindset that values accountability, coaching, shared standards, and continuous improvement
- Willingness to learn, adapt, follow documented processes, and improve based on evidence - not ego

- A desire to mentor apprentices, strengthen the team, and help build a culture of disciplined excellence
- Experience across both residential and commercial electrical work, including service, construction, troubleshooting, premium products, innovative solutions, or customizable product offerings

- Competitive pay based on experience and license level
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off and holidays
- 401(k) with company match
- Company vehicle and tools provided
