$15-$20 an hour Salary dependent upon experience. Days are Mon-Thurs (7:30-5:00) and 1 Sat a month (7-12) Padron Dental is looking for a team oriented, full time dental assistant, who is well organized, and will ensure excellent customer service.We are seeking someone who is skilled in providing patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Responsibilities will include:
Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort Operatory setup Sterilization and disinfection according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Take radiographs Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Requirements:
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills w/Open Dental knowledge a plus Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable

Dentistry is a profession that is most susceptible to COVID-19 due to the aerosols created during dental procedures and cleanings. Our goal is to meet and exceed the standards set forth to keep our team and patients as safe as possible. Our office is utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with CDC and ADA guidelines. This includes the use of N95 masks, face shields, bouffant hats, eye protection, and disposable gowns. Since your safety is our main concern, we want you to know that we have made a number of facility changes that may not be readily obvious. For instance, ultraviolet air disinfection and a special high-volume aerosol evacuation system to suction and filter aerosol spray during certain procedures.
