Since 1957, Bridges’ mental health and addiction recovery programs and services have helped adults, children, and families move toward healing, recovery, and renewal.

Bridges, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, is unique in its ability to offer care and treatment for the whole family - children, young adults, and adults - in the same location, making services easier to access and outcomes better.

With Family Centered Services of CT now a Division of Bridges Healthcare, we have expanded our continuum of care to provide even more comprehensive support for children, families, and caregivers throughout Greater New Haven.

As the state-designated Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA) for Milford, Orange, and West Haven, Bridges Healthcare provides recovery-focused behavioral health services for individuals living with mental illness and substance use disorders. In addition to our core service area, many of our programs are available to residents of New Haven, Ansonia, Bethany, Derby, Seymour, Shelton, Stratford, Woodbridge, and other surrounding Connecticut communities.

We also offer help to those dealing with short-term emotional and behavioral issues that arise from the challenges and stresses of everyday life.

Licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health to provide mental health and addition services to adults. Licensed by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide a range of clinical services for children.
