BRAIN INJURY SERVICES, INC.

Brain Injury Services helps children and adults with a brain injury build the skills and confidence they need to lead a fulfilling and productive life.

The organization was the first community-based brain injury case management program of its​ kind in Virginia. It was instrumental in guiding other communities across the Commonwealth that utilize this model program. In 2002, Brain Injury Services was awarded a Commonwealth Neurotrauma Initiative Grant to establish the first pediatric brain injury case management program. The organization now serves all of Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, and surrounding Counties, including Culpeper and Fauquier. It added specialized programs over the years, including day programs, supported living services, supported employment, volunteer programs, PALS, Speakers Bureau, therapeutic groups, Assistive Technology, "Money Follows the Person"​ coordination, and other services.
