Primary Responsibilities:
Move raw materials and finished product safely to the correct work areas
Perform daily forklift safety checks, including battery, seat belt, brakes, lift controls and fire extinguisher
Identify raw material, in-process and finished product, and cross-check against the production or shipping schedule
Report any inconsistencies or problems to the supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1+ year of sit-down forklift experience
Sheet metal experience
No property damage accidents in the past 3 years
Basic computer knowledge
Must pass the in-company forklift certification
Dependable, with good eye/hand coordination and attention to safety Able to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods
Must be available for overtime. Interview attire: steel-toe boots, safety glasses and work clothes.
Drug screen and background check required.
Shift: 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
