Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and respond promptly to each infant’s needs.
- Assist with bottle feeding, meals, diapering, comforting, and nap routines.
- Follow each infant’s individual feeding and care schedule.
- Follow safe sleep practices and all center health and safety procedures.
- Record feedings, diaper changes, naps, and other important care information.
- Support development through talking, reading, singing, tummy time, and age-appropriate play.
- Clean and sanitize toys, diapering areas, feeding supplies, and classroom surfaces.
- Keep supplies stocked and the infant room organized.
- Communicate respectfully with families and share concerns with the lead teacher or director.
- Remain flexible and assist with other classroom or center duties as needed.
