Summary We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to serve as a Guest Teacher in our educational institution. The Guest Teacher will fill in for regular classroom teachers who are absent, providing continuity of instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment. This role requires a passion for education, adaptability, and strong communication skills to engage students effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials as provided by the regular teacher.
- Maintain a productive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage student behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Assess and document student progress and performance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding classroom activities and student needs.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as required.
- Uphold the values and mission of the school while fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to support student learning and achievement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit, as required by state regulations.
- Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students and staff.
- Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and classroom environments.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

- Background check clearance as per school district policies.
