Position Summary As a Shift Leader, you’re the heartbeat of our restaurant operations. You’ll support the management team by leading shifts, motivating team members, and ensuring each guest leaves happier than they arrived. You set the tone for energy, efficiency, and hospitality - helping Biscuit Belly live up to its mission of serving up the South’s best brunch with a side of good vibes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Maintain a positive attitude and inspire the team to deliver excellent service and uphold Biscuit Belly standards.
- Shift Management: Supervise daily operations during assigned shifts, including opening/closing duties, cash handling, and delegating tasks.
- Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives top-notch service and a memorable dining experience.
- Team Support: Coach and train team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and fun.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Problem Solving: Handle guest concerns or operational challenges calmly and effectively.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of restaurant or retail leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain).
