Remote Call Center Representative – Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (Entry Level)

Pay: $11.00/hour, increasing to $12.00/hour (about 9%) after 90 days of full-time employment, plus a $0.50/hour weekend shift differential
About the Role
Berlin-Wheeler, Inc. is hiring a Remote Call Center Representative to help members get to their medical appointments. In this work-from-home customer service role, you will answer inbound calls, schedule non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) trips, and make sure every member has a safe, reliable ride. If you enjoy helping people, have strong phone skills, and want an entry-level remote job with a clear pay increase, we want to hear from you.
Pay and Schedule
- Starting pay: $11.00 per hour
- Pay increase: $1.00 per hour (about 9%) after 90 days of full-time employment, bringing pay to $12.00 per hour
- Weekend shift differential: an additional $0.50 per hour for weekend hours worked
- Operating hours: 7 days a week, 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
What You Will Do
- Answer inbound calls from members requesting non-emergency medical transportation
- Set up trips for members and enter accurate trip details in our system
- Confirm scheduled rides with members
- Call medical providers and vendors to confirm appointments
- Check on transportation status to make sure members arrive on time
- Resolve questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and patience
- Document every call and follow privacy and compliance requirements
What You Bring
- Must live in and work from the state of Kansas
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear, friendly phone communication and good listening skills
- Comfortable with computers and typing, and able to learn new software quickly
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- A quiet, private home workspace with reliable high-speed internet
- Ability to work a set schedule
Nice to Have
- Customer service, call center, scheduling, dispatch, or healthcare experience
- Familiarity with non-emergency medical transportation
