Beatrice High School is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and qualified individual to serve as the Head Softball Coach for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and personal growth while building a competitive and respected softball program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, structure, and manage all aspects of the softball program.
- Plan and conduct effective daily practices focusing on player skill development, game strategy, and conditioning.
- Promote high academic standards, sportsmanship, and character development among student-athletes.
- Oversee team logistics, equipment inventory, facility setup, and game-day preparations.
- Establish clear communication with student-athletes, parents, school staff, and community members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, or competitive club level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of softball rules, strategy, fundamental skill execution, and player development.
- Valid coaching credentials/certifications as required by the state athletic association (or ability to obtain).
- First Aid/CPR Certification and required safety training (Concussion Awarness)
Teaching & Staffing Opportunities:
