Design and technical excellence
- Design and draft high-voltage substations, up to 500 kV, using current industry standards
- Effectively use 2D and 3D AutoCAD to create, edit and optimize electrical drawings
- Prepare technical documents, calculation notes and comprehensive specifications
- Apply established work methods and contribute to their continuous improvement
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams who are designing renewable power facilities (wind, solar, battery energy storage systems)
- Engineer solutions to interconnect large loads, such as data centers, mining operations and large industrial companies
Leadership and mentoring
- Coach and mentor junior and intermediate designers, fostering their technical growth and professional development
- Supervise and guide junior and intermediate team members through complex design projects and problem-solving processes
- Share your expertise by leading design reviews and providing constructive feedback on technical work
- Support the development of technical skills and career progression of junior team members
Project management and client engagement
- Provide engineering services and consulting work as a lead designer or as a supporting team member, building client relationships
- Participate in project management activities, including cost tracking, deadline management and resource planning
- Lead coordination meetings, both internally and with clients, demonstrating technical leadership
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform design decisions
- Participate in commissioning equipment at client sites, locally and internationally, ensuring successful project delivery
