What You’ll Do:
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of tires and related products.
- Develop and manage warehouse and transportation schedules to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with the Wholesale Manager, common carriers, and store locations.
- Maintain warehouse equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
Customer Service Cultivation
- Communicate and reinforce Bauer Built’s commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with store managers, wholesale operations, and transportation partners to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Proactively address delivery concerns, inventory discrepancies, and operational challenges.
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments and external carriers to support seamless distribution operations.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse employees while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Establish clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support employee performance.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new warehouse employees.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement to maintain a productive workplace.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Financial Management
- Monitor warehouse and transportation expenses to support cost-effective operations.
- Manage employee scheduling and labor utilization to maintain productivity and control payroll expenses.
- Minimize inventory discrepancies, product damage, and operational waste.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and support profitability.
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in warehouse management, distribution, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Experience with inventory control, transportation coordination, and warehouse operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence.
