Bath Tune-Up Bloomfield is growing fast, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Helper to support our Lead Bath Installer on bathroom remodeling projects across Essex County. This is hands-on work - ideal for someone who wants steady hours, strong training, and a path into the skilled trades.
Role Overview
You’ll assist our experienced installers with demolition, prep work, material handling, installation support, and clean-up. You’ll learn modern remodeling techniques, contribute to high-quality projects, and help deliver a 5-star customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic Tiling
- Assist with demolition, debris removal, and jobsite prep
- Carry, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Support installation of flooring, vanities, fixtures, wall systems, and shower conversions
- Help set up waterproofing, substrates, and basic plumbing/electrical prep (under supervision)
- Measure, cut, and prep materials as directed
- Keep jobsite clean, safe, and customer-ready at all times
- Communicate clearly with the Lead Installer and Project Manager
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Represent Bath Tune-Up professionally inside customers’ homes
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable doing physical work - lifting, bending, carrying
- Positive attitude and ability to follow direction
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Prior construction, handyman, moving, or labor experience
