Job Description
- Changing of laser parameters to adjust for different materials (size and shape).
- Changing of internal components to run between round and structural shapes.
- Fiber laser, sensor, optics and other parts of the laser.
- Centering and focusing of the laser beam.
- Create and load multiple jobs into one in order to efficiently use material.
- Troubleshoot error codes and loader issues.
- Understanding of BLM laser and terminology used to run the laser.
- Daily and Weekly maintenance schedules.
- Knowledge of general safety rules around and on the entire machine.
- Proper upkeep inside and outside of the laser.
- Use of overhead crane.
- Organizational skills to monitor inventory and material use.
- Maintain quality and production standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Previous laser experience is preferred.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions.
- Ability to perform math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
