Responsible for disinfecting as directed throughout the District. Also, may have custodial and cleaning related duties to be performed at school buildings within District.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Disinfect and possibly cleans offices, classrooms, corridors, lavatories, physical education area, locker rooms, shower rooms, swimming pool, computer labs, science and art rooms, and other similar spaces.
- Sweeps, dust mops, wet mops, applies floor finishes, uses a variety of manual and automatic equipment including scrubbers, extractors, vacuums, and burnishes.
- Maintains adequate supplies of paper towels, toilet tissue, soap and any other dispensed products in all areas where dispensers are provided.
- Empties trash and garbage, sorts and empties recyclable.
- Other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used:
Equipment as required by job duties, with knowledge of commercial or public building disinfecting and cleaning methods, procedures and equipment.
