Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Balmoral Nursing Home – Chicago, IL
Balmoral Nursing Home is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. Our LPNs play an important role in providing quality, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with CNAs, nursing leadership, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Opportunities are available across AM, PM, and NOC shifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Assist with the development and implementation of resident care plans
- Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to CNAs
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and other nursing leadership
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care
- Follow facility policies, procedures, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and appropriately delegate to nursing staff
- Dependable, professional, and committed to resident-centered care
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Must meet applicable health and background requirements
Schedule
Available shifts include:
- AM: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- PM: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- NOC: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- Rotating weekends and weekend availability may be required
