What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise nursing staff on your assigned unit.
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure quality resident care.
- Monitor residents, medications, treatments, and changes in condition.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the Director of Nursing.
- Support care planning and ensure care plans are followed.
- Promote resident dignity, rights, safety, and confidentiality.
- Respond to clinical, staffing, and emergency situations with professionalism.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, infection control, and applicable regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Current nursing license appropriate to the position.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions and remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care standards.
- A compassionate, positive attitude and commitment to resident-centered care.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
