Integration Support Engineer Authenticom Group of Companies is looking for a full-time team member to join our Integration Support Team. We count on Integration Support Engineers to provide technical support to our partners and customers who use the Motive Integrator eXchange (MIX) integration platform. The role will combine a passion for outstanding customer service with a product mindset to ensure that key insights are communicated to our product teams. We are looking for people who have the expertise to manage technical integrations, foster developer and business relationships, and improve the support experience for our customers. To be successful, this candidate requires mastery of a variety of proven analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Our Integration Support Engineers combine technical breadth and depth with strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills. This is a key customer-facing support role, providing technical support to software companies around the globe that are implementing new APIs using our software platform. This position will ensure the timely resolution of all inbound inquiries through data analysis, system testing, requirement reviews, and other available tools for resolving issues. It will also have responsibilities to monitor the progress of each third-party project and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects. This role is expected to continually grow and expand knowledge of supported integrations to improve our software platform and project setup, and to reduce inbound support tickets. This role will have involvement in all aspects of our service delivery and will support major global integration programs. Experience in automotive retail data, systems, or dealer processes is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line technical support resource for incoming queries and issues from external software development teams related to any of our supported Motive Integrator MIX, Certify, and Activate platforms.
- Become an expert on MIX APIs, with a focus on how to best implement and troubleshoot them.
- Troubleshoot third-party system files and communication errors promptly through email, ticket, or screen share.
- Review test cases and provide feedback.
- Answer questions and provide guidance on integration specifications and technical requirements.
- Evaluate documented resolutions and make improvements to integration requirements, testing configuration, or the platform to avoid future support tickets.
- Proactively contact third parties to monitor status, resolve roadblocks, and ensure they can complete projects on time.
- Train users on the Motive Integrator MIX, Certify, and Activate platforms and help them get their jobs done using our software.
- Continually work with our product team to improve our internal and customer-facing products and enhance the experience of all users.
- Pitch in where needed to ensure we always exceed our clients’ expectations.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software delivery, support, technical consulting, or technical implementation services experience in B2B integration.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Experience with XML and XSLT and XML tools such as Liquid XML, XML Spy, or Oxygen is desirable.
- Experience with JSON and REST APIs.
- Experience with B2B web services and tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
- Experience with software development processes, testing, and technical documentation.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to work with a broad range of clients in primarily technical roles.
- Strong critical-thinking skills, deep analytical skills, and good judgment and decision-making ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with a broad range of customers.
