Town Council is seeking applicants for the Town of Ashland’s Economic Development Authority (EDA). The EDA considers requests for approval of tax-exempt borrowing for economic development purposes and also administers loan, grant, and bond programs that support economic growth and vitality. Applicants must be a resident of Ashland or Hanover County. Appointed EDA members serve a four-year term and may be re-appointed by Town Council for an additional four-year term. The EDA typically meets on the third Thursday of every month at 5:30pm in Town Hall.
