Description:
Walsh Electrical Services is seeking Electrical Leads for commercial electrical projects across Middle Tennessee. We build retail spaces, restaurants, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and more. Our Leads are the people who keep those projects moving forward.
Under the supervision of a Foreman, the Lead runs the day-to-day work on the job site. You carry out the plan the Foreman lays out, direct the crew, keep the work on pace, and serve as Walsh’s on-site contact with the GC’s superintendent. Our Foremen oversee several projects and make the critical job-site decisions, while Leads handle the day-to-day calls in the field.
The ideal candidate has strong commercial electrical knowledge, proven leadership ability, and a commitment to delivering quality work on schedule. They lead by example, earn the respect of their crew, and hold everyone to a high standard for quality, safety, and productivity. They plan ahead, anticipating material, labor, and sequencing needs before they become problems. They communicate professionally with superintendents, inspectors, and other trades, make sound decisions in the field, and know when a call needs to go up the chain. Above all, they take ownership of their projects and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
