Job Description
Participate in multiple phases of the project life cycle development environment including requirement gathering, software design, development and testing of computer applications. Design, develop and modify software applications. Formulate cutting edge product breakthroughs, defining architecture and product functionality. Design, develop and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support business logic execution and enhance database performance. Write and maintain Unix / Linux shell scripts for automating data loads, scheduled tasks, and system monitoring to improve operational efficiency. Design and manage cron jobs for automating critical processes, monitor database performance, and proactively identify and resolve potential system bottlenecks. Develop and execute rigorous unit test cases and facilitate in-depth code reviews. Experience must include: Oracle, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, SQL Server, Linux, Unix, JIRA, Talend, Snowflake, Python. Direct and supervise team of 3 Jr. Programmers.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or a closely related field with 5 years of progressive IT experience in job offered or as a Computer / Engineering Professional or related. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. Job locations in Morristown, NJ & may involve relocation to various unanticipated client sites across the U.S.
