Description: Store Associate Skills: 6 months retail sales and customer service experience. Duties: Sells a variety of merchandise to customers using salesmanship and courtesy. Explains technical or artistic details necessary to realize full utilization / enjoyment of products purchased or information and decorating service relative to specialized household merchandise programs. Provides the full range of customer service functions. May be assigned to more than one selling center / counter. May operate a cash register or other sales related equipment; balances daily financial transactions. Practices loss prevention procedures and performs other related retail sales duties. May perform lead functions, train and provide work direction to lower band level associates. Progresses from non-specialized sales duties to specialized product expertise.
