This is a 90-day contract position.
Schedule/Shift
4 ten-hour shifts, from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with 2-4 days a month of call, which will require additional holiday time per contract.
Job Description
The Surgical Technician will assist in delivering high-quality surgical services in the operating room. This role involves preparation for surgical procedures, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring a sterile environment is maintained throughout surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during operations.
- Handle instruments and supplies required for surgical procedures.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment is functioning and available.
- Participate in cleaning and maintaining the operating room and equipment.
Required Experience
Experience as a Surgical Technician in an operating room setting is required. Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation is essential.
Certifications/Licensure
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
