Schedule/Shift
Rotating shifts: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.
Job Description
Registered Nurses will provide care on the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, which may require floating to other units such as J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for similar patient populations. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Document patient care using the specified charting system.
- Float to different units as needed, maintaining continuity of care.
- Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active Ohio nursing license or compact license required.
- Certification in AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
