Job Description
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the proper sterilization of instruments and supplies used in various medical procedures. You will work in a fast-paced environment ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards while preparing the necessary equipment for surgical operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure all sterile and non-sterile items are available as needed for surgical procedures.
- Adhere to all infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain proper records of sterilization processes.
Required Experience
- Current certification in Sterile Processing or related field.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Certification in Sterile Processing required.
- Current health assessments and immunization records, including COVID-19 vaccination and annual flu shot, are mandatory.
