Schedule/Shift
Rotating shifts including Night Shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Description
The role involves providing care for a diverse patient population in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. Nurses will have the opportunity to float to various units as needed, including J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.
- Monitor and assess patient condition, including ECG rhythm recognition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
- MUST have a Permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State license.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current NIHSS certification.
