Night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care within the scope of practice and directing patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse communicates with physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care based on the nursing process.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Guide patient/family teaching and assist with activities of nursing personnel.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Required Experience
- Current and valid state RN license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid RN License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
