Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Telemetry unit. The role involves continuous monitoring of patients' vital signs, administering medications, and providing support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications and treatment as prescribed by the physician.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.
- Document patient data and interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
Required Experience
- Current and valid RN license.
- Previous experience in a Telemetry unit preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
