Schedule/Shift
Rotating shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with the requirement to work every other holiday.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, with the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population. Nurses may be required to care for patients on ventilators.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record.
Required Experience
Must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in the Med/Surg Tele specialty.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
- AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
