Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. This role ensures the safety and readiness of medical supplies for clinical staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and sterilize instruments and equipment used in surgical procedures.
• Ensure all instruments are properly maintained and stored.
• Adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document and label all processed items accurately.
• Carry out regular maintenance checks on sterilization equipment.

Required Experience

Previous experience in sterile processing is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

CSPDT or similar certification is preferred but not required.
