Schedule
Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) shifts available. Rotation may occur to meet the operational needs of the hospital.
Job Description
The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide nursing care for patients in a high-acuity environment. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. There is potential to float to various units within the facility, including caring for patients on ventilators.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical changes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in the specialty.
- Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
- Must have completed ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
