This position is a 40-hour per week position with an evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, requiring every other weekend and holiday work.
Job Description
The Professional RN Team Lead is integral to delivering high-quality health care in partnership with the community. This role includes responsibilities such as time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization while providing direct patient care through assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting on patients' conditions. The RN Team Lead collaborates with the care team, participates in interdisciplinary care, and advocates for patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage time effectively and prioritize patient care tasks.
- Conduct assessments and monitor patients, recording and reporting changes in conditions.
- Advocate for patients' needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Promote evidence-based practice and best practices in patient care.
- Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- May be required to assist in LPN Med Cart duties as needed.
- Participate in unit councils and staff meetings.
- Possibly float to other units based on staffing needs.
Required Experience
Registered Nurse with clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current active RN state license.
- Required vaccinations including Pneumococcal, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Hepatitis B.
- TB Test clearance and Fit Test documentation.
- Agency background check and drug screen completion.
