Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. You will be involved in various procedures and be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to making a positive impact on our patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Assist with complex procedures, including IV starts, catheterizations, and central line dressing changes.
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
- Provide tracheostomy care and tube feeding administration.
- Maintain open communication with patients and families regarding care plans and updates.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1 year of PICU experience required.
- PALS certification is mandatory.
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
