ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PCU/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Lubbock, Texas.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week with required weekend coverage of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
Job Description
The PCU/Telemetry RN will be responsible for providing care in an all Tele unit, specifically focusing on patients with neurological issues such as TIA, stroke, and neurosurgical conditions. The nurse will be expected to work within a fast-paced environment and manage cardiac telemetry drips including Cardene and Heparin. A high level of teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is essential.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips per established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Social Services.
- Participate in rapid response and code blue situations as required.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU and Telemetry nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:3-4.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (Compact license accepted).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
