ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
3 shifts per week, each shift is 12 hours long. Required to work 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule. Shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families in a 20-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and facilitating care plans. The unit features advanced equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry systems, EKG machines, and iMobile communication technology. Documentation will be completed using the Meditech system.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting.
- Perform basic wound care, start IVs, and maintain surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Participate in bedside shift reports and engage patients and families in their care plans.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with unit techs and secretaries to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Required Experience
- Med/Surg experience.
- Ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification.
