Job Description
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Step Down unit, where you will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing care for patients recovering from serious illnesses or surgeries in a step-down critical care environment. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is essential for patient documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for adults in a step-down critical care unit.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage medication administration.
- Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.
- Administer and manage intravenous therapies and other interventions.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Experience in step-down and telemetry nursing environments is beneficial.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification required.
