Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown care. The ideal candidate will join our team to provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit, managing intermediate level patients who require continuous monitoring and care.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and monitoring for patients in a stepdown unit.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
- Administer medications and perform interventions as required.
- Document patient information accurately in the Epic charting system.
- Float to like units as needed to support staffing needs.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in ICU and/or Stepdown care.
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:4.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in South Carolina or a compact nursing license.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
