Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in ICU settings. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a 5-bed Med-Surg rotation. Applicants must be proficient in using the Epic electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report significant changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- MUST have Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.
- A 5-bed Med-Surg rotation is required for all staff.
- All applicants must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer.
- Epic experience is REQUIRED.
