Registered Nurse - Critical Care
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
3x12 Hour Shifts: 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM or 08:00 AM - 08:30 PM with on-call shifts.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide critical care and post-anesthesia care in a Level I Trauma Center setting. The role involves caring for adults and pediatric patients, with a diverse patient mix that includes post-surgical, post-procedural, and trauma cases. Strong critical care experience is essential, along with proficiency in various advanced nursing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a critical care and PACU environment.
- Utilize trauma certifications to assess and manage patients effectively.
- Monitor and manage vital signs, medication administration, and interventions.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in on-call shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care or PACU.
- Trauma certification required: TNCC, PALS, ACLS.
- ICU experience is mandatory; SICU, MICU, and CTICU experience preferred.
- Valid state RN license at time of submission.
