7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 10-hour day shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the PACU will provide specialized care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures. The RN will monitor vital signs, manage pain control, and ensure that patients are safe and comfortable as they transition from surgery to the recovery phase.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress.
- Administer medications and manage pain control as required.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with surgical team and other departments for optimal patient care.
Required Experience
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Previous experience in a PACU or similar critical care setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
