Job Description
The Recovery Room, PACU unit at Wesley Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the recovery of patients post-anesthesia. The unit features 30 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, and 1 RN to 1 patient for more intensive care.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and manage patient comfort during the recovery process.
- Administer medications and treatment protocols as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure continuity of care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1-year current hospital PACU RN experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
