Job Description
Join a dynamic PACU team that floats between different units including the Main, Surgical Robotics, and Orthopedic Surgery Center. The combined capacity of our recovery area includes 59 bays. Staff satisfaction is high, with a score of 91%.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia while adhering to ASPAN standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage the recovery process for various surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and ensure proper post-operative care.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1-year current PACU hospital experience.
- Current BLS & ACLS certification.
- Preferred: experience in stroke care and critical care.
