ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Polson, Montana.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position requires 8-hour shifts, 4 days a week, with the possibility of 10-hour shifts. It includes variable call on weekends and nights, requiring 8 shifts per month, with every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on rotation and time-off requests.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room, encompassing all areas of the surgery department including Pre/Post op, Circulating, PACU, and Endo. This role demands flexibility and the ability to float between surgical units and assist other departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Operating Room and assist with surgical procedures.
- Float between Pre-op, OR, PACU, and Endo as needed.
- Maintain patient safety and uphold infection control standards.
- Document care accurately in the Epic EMR system.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical environment.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Must have experience working in critical access hospitals.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN licensure in the state of Montana (compact license accepted).
- ACLS, BLS certifications are required.
- NIHSS and PALS certification preferred.
