AM shift from 07:00 to 19:30, 3 × 11.5 hour shifts per week.
Job Description
This position is located in a major academic medical center's main Operating Room, which consists of 15 multi-specialty operating rooms. The RN will be involved in trauma and various surgical procedures, including general surgery, urology, GYN surgery, robotic surgeries, plastics, pediatric surgeries, orthopedics, and thoracic surgery.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients in the Operating Room setting.
- Utilize advanced equipment and techniques, including the Davinci Xi robotic surgical system.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Experience
A minimum of 4 years of experience in an Operating Room setting is preferred, with trauma experience highly regarded. Previous travel experience is also required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- Active New York State RN licensure.
