12-hour night shift with rotating weekends; call rotation typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks.
Job Description
Join our Family Birth Place Team as an experienced L&D Traveler RN. This role includes providing couplet care across L&D, operating room (OR), post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), and postpartum units. You will be a part of a fun and close-knit team delivering approximately 60 deliveries a month, caring for babies from 32 weeks and up, and helping us ramp up to over 80 deliveries in the coming months.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to laboring mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Assist in the operating room and provide care in the PACU as needed.
- Support postpartum care and education for new parents.
- Participate in call rotation as required.
Required Experience
- Previous L&D experience with RN Charge experience required.
- Experience in a high-volume labor and delivery environment preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- NRP and STABLE certifications are required.
- Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted) from October 1st through April 1st.
