Job Description
The Labor & Delivery unit at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is a dynamic environment with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 L&D ORs. Our team is focused on providing high-quality care for labor and delivery patients, including postpartum and high-risk antepartum patients.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care for labor and delivery patients.
- Deliver care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Perform vaginal and c-section deliveries.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of current hospital Labor & Delivery experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications are mandatory.
- AWHONN or EFM certification is preferred.
