Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, experience with vaginal exams, and the ability to circulate a C-section. Candidates must have a valid CA Nursing License and submit a resume for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough vaginal exams and manage laboring patients.
- Circulate in C-sections and assist with post-operative care.
- Provide high-quality care to high-risk antepartum patients, including those with gestational hypertension and diabetes.
- Handle obstetrical emergencies, including OB hemorrhages.
- Support newborn care within the first hour of life, including breastfeeding support.
- Conduct outpatient testing such as NST, CST, and BPP.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current California RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Experience in fetal monitoring and care of the laboring patient.
- Knowledge of complications such as obstetrical emergencies.
