Job Description
We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care, capable of providing advanced nursing care to patients in high-acuity settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor patient status and perform necessary interventions.
- Document patient care and progress in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures for critical care.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a critical care, acute care Level 1 trauma hospital setting.
- Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), External Ventricular Drains (EVD), and Swan-Ganz catheters.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active New Jersey nursing license required.
