Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide comprehensive patient care, focusing on critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
- Document patient information and care provided in the medical record.
Required Experience
Candidates must have prior experience in a cardiac or critical care setting.
Certifications/Licensure
A valid RN license is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
