Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing critical care for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients. This role demands proficiency in handling high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment of a Level One trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and discharge processes.
Required Experience
2 years of ICU staff experience required, specifically in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU settings.
Certifications/Licensure
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Trauma Level One experience is a must.
